Top 10 most expensive phones in the world (No iPhone made the list)

There is so much people can spend on stuffs they love, but this time, it seems like class plays here and this time, it’s for the ultra wealthy. It’s not like these phones are packed with cutting edge technology like the Apple iphone 11 or the Samsung Galaxy Fold as they even start at a price of $100,000 for the least on this list which when converted to Naira should cost ₦37,950,000. Now you know what we are talking about right? Well, it’s only one way to find out why they are so made for the ultra wealthy class.
10. Dior Reveries Haute Couture — $100,000

Having only 99 units made, this top dollar phone was assembled by hand in France. That sounds interesting right? Infact, to add to that, it is all bodily covered with an 18-carat white gold and features 1,539 diamonds as well as 46 pieces of mother of pearl in its shiny glory. It also features 5MP camera, GPS, and Dolby Sound technology which doesn’t sound like what one could crave for in this time. The device was released back in 2011 and retailed for 78,000 pounds in the U.K., which translates to roughly $100,000 based on today’s exchange rate.

9. Goldvish Eclipse – Desiring Arcadia — $105,000

Coming from the Goldvish company which has other loads of expensive gadgets. Its back is covered with premium alligator leather and slapped upon with 320 diamonds. Well, much of its specs wasn’t revealed on their website other than 5.5″ display, 13MP camera, and a 5MP selfie snapper. Desiring Arcadia, actually went on sale at a price of 92,900 euros which is $105,000 now.

8. Ulysse Nardin Chairman – Diamond Edition — $130,000

Made by a luxury swiss watch manufacturer, Ulysse Nardin. Obviously one of the most costly phones out there because it spots 3,000 17-carat hand-cut diamonds Exactly 1,846 units of the device were made, which is a tribute to the year the company was founded. The specs aspect seems hazy as we can only see that it was launched with the Android gingerbread as it’s OS and a physical keyboard. One annoying part happens to be that after you must have paid for the phone, you still have to wait for seven months till you get due to a lengthy production process.

7. Vertu Golden phones — $180,000

The Vertu Golden phones launched by Vertu, a company in Japan, it literally made with gold. The Vertu Golden phones are four series: Kinko (above), Kikusui, Nanten, and Daigo, each showing a design of a different season of the year at its back. These phones also feature free local calls.

6. Savelli Emerald Insane — $185,000

Targeted at women, the Savelli Emerald Insane is made of precious materials which are 18-carat white gold, 75 baguette-cut emeralds, and 900 brilliant-cut diamonds with a beautiful design. To our amazement, only eight units were produced.

5. VIPN Black Diamond — $300,000

VIPN launched the Black Diamond phone in 2007, which is based on the design created by Jaren Goh for Sony Ericsson. The windows -powered phone spots two diamonds. One at its back and one at its front which can be removed easily. It is said that the phone is an accessory to the diamond and not the diamond being an accessory to the phone. Happens that only five units were produced.

4. Vertu Signature Cobra — $360,000

gloriously but still creepy designed snake figure on a phone spotting precious stones which are made up of 439 rubies and 2 emeralds serving as the snake’s eyes. Having only eight units made, the Signature Cobra was designed by the French jewelry company Boucheron and assembled by hand in the U.K.

3. Gresso Luxor Las Vegas Jackpot — $1 million
Gresso’s luxury phone is made up of black diamonds on the front and a 200-year-old African Blackwood on the back which happens to be one of the most expensive woods in the world. The keys are made with sapphires, while the rest of the phone is made of gold. Only three units were produced, each one with a unique number labelled at its back.

2. Goldvish – Le Million — $1.14 million
The second most expensive phone in the world coming from Goldvish. Made with 18-carat white gold and studded with 120-carats of VVS-1 graded diamonds, only three of these luxury phones were produced.

1. Diamond Crypto Smartphone — $1.3 million
Made by the JSC Ancort, a Russian company, in partnership with Austrian jeweler Peter Aloisson. This phone is made out of platinum with the Ancort logo and the navigation key which were created from 18-carat rose gold. The device also sports 50 diamonds — 10 of which are blue — and is blessed with the expensive Macassar ebony wood on the sides. The Diamond Crypto Smartphone was targeted at Russian VIPs, not only because of its high price tag but also because of its encryption technology that secures all data in the data.
